Though this weekend is pack with tons of work, I managed to squeeze time off and went shopping with couple of ang moh frens... Lots of assignments due, quizes and mid terms are all on this coming week... normally I shd be mugging like hell now... But i guess i still do okay, prob cos I felt the mid term calculus that I juz had was easy... Futhermore I tot abt it and Im not here to be a hardcore nerd... All I need to do is to get grades better than B.. I will still get my honours, so theres no need to strive so hard for a A+, which i was trying hard to maintain. And if u r so freaking studious, pple gonna dislike u man... I dun wanna be one of those international student who comes here and spoil the market and everybody hates u... Im gonna be the coolest international dude arnd, as a matter of fact, I am the coolest international dude arnd.. LOLz
Oh yah can sense it whenever I do abit better than my roommate, he gets upset... haha, competitive ah...
Back to shopping trip... And it was rather fun as this guy had his car here, and he was reving his engine (obviously tuned) as we went arnd places and getting stuff... They noe I wasnt from Canada so they basically went arnd and got me my equipment for winter.. Got winter shoes and coat..
Haha, u never knew u need winter shoes leh.... These are shoes that suppose to help u maneuver in the snow... Normal shoes will juz haf no friction and u end up slipping everynow and then...
I look at these guys and they noe so much more abt cars than me man... They will check their tires and engines to maintain it and do some tunings on their own... Esp in countries in winter, car maintanance will be a problem, like you need to change to winter tires and stuff.. Me, I cant even be bothered to check any part of my car except the gas meter....
Next time, Im gonna be the coolest dad and teach my son abt mechanics. When he is young, let him play with mechanical toys, juz like Newton.. Then as he is older teach him abt how the car operates and when he is 18, i will buy him a rather average car and he can do the tuning up himself... Oh yah I will teach him to play soccer too... Lolz.. How cool is that.. Haha, but thats quite far fetched still... Now got no money, so cannot haf son.. hahaha....
